Jim proposed to Maddi on Seagrove Beach during family vacation. Maddi brought her tripod down to the beach assuming she was just getting some good sunset photos, unaware that it was her proposal moment!
We celebrated with champagne and pizza at Brozinni’s, and finished the night having our first martinis as an engaged couple at the Surfing Deer with Jim’s family!
We spent the next day calling family, soaking in the vacation moments as new fiancés, and having Jim share the sweet story about creating the custom engagement ring over and over!
We finished out the rest of our vacation at Aunt Gina and Uncle Ken’s house hunkered down from Hurricane Helene.
Exactly a month later, we returned to Florida with Maddi’s family to plan our 30A wedding!
We will be married under this 600-year-old tree!
